N Y C F A L C O N Has had his wing clipped on Their Platform.

N.Y.C falcon has had his “wings clipped” by Substack’s Support Team.

This is a contradiction in terminology: “support” implies sustaining, maintaining, or guiding. There was no support in explaining my error (if indeed one was committed), nor was I shown a guideline or an example of my alleged violation, nor a reason for my suspension. I saw nothing of this kind when I realized I had been unfairly suspended.
Just a quick pop-up sign appeared, reading:
“Your Account Has Been Suspended due to spam or phishing activity. If you feel you have reached this in error, please contact the support team.”
The email they sent is the real spam here; it’s basically a no-reply email. In 30 days, I had nearly 50 subscribers without opening the payment option, so I was not making any money or planning to.
When I created an account with the Substack software, I approached this purely altruistically. Ten years ago, when I started blogging as a hobby, I did so to create political awareness in my city (New York City), my neighborhood, and my country.
This message is aimed at the 50 subscribers who placed enough confidence in me to subscribe for free, and the more than 200 followers who could have also subscribed.
I have not lost anything here; if anything, I have gained many emails from independent news sources, for which I am happy. I can still follow everything I was following in terms of news. You see, I am a news junkie or news buff, so in reality, all stays the same. There was no love lost for Substack, especially if they didn’t like the way I was trending in their users’ hearts. But I know what is at the heart of all of this; it is not mysterious to me at all.
