Flight 171 crashed 30 seconds after takeoff from Ahmedabad… But where are the passengers from seats 13A and 13B?A major tragedy has shaken India’s skies. Air India Flight 171, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner bound for London Gatwick, crashed just 30 seconds after takeoff from Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on Thursday morning. The aircraft exploded mid-air before slamming into a densely packed residential neighborhood, setting homes and vehicles ablaze in seconds. Authorities fear all 242 people onboard may have perished… except for one extraordinary survivor. Two passengers listed on the manifest… seated in 13A and 13B… are missing.
A Flight That Turned Into Fire
Video clips shot by local residents show the plane lifting off smoothly… then dipping sharply nose-down. A moment later, it smashed into rooftops and erupted in flames. Thick, black smoke blanketed the morning sky.
Pilot communications revealed a Mayday call moments after takeoff… but the nature of the emergency remains unknown. Officials say the black box and flight data recorder have been recovered and will be key to understanding what went wrong.
“This appears to be a catastrophic failure,” said one aviation analyst. “Whether mechanical or human error… we can’t say yet.”
The Mystery of 13A and 13B
Among the wreckage, investigators made a chilling discovery: every seat on the plane has been accounted for… except 13A and 13B.
