The Honourable: Hakim Jeffries
Good afternoon, everyone. Good afternoon.
On January 6, 2021, a violent mob incited by Donald Trump viciously attacked the Capitol as part of an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and halt the peaceful transfer of power for the first time in American history.
The mob brutally attacked and beat police officers, seriously injuring more than 140 brave men and women of law enforcement.
Unprecedented assault on the American way of life, on the rule of law, and on the very fabric of our democracy.
Donald Trump and House Republicans are now determined to whitewash that day that will always live in infamy. House Democrats will not let it happen. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.
Donald Trump and House Republicans spent all of last year promising to lower the high cost of living in the United States of America. In fact, Donald Trump promised that he would lower costs on day one. That hasn’t happened.
Why didn’t it happen? Because on day one, Donald Trump was too busy pardoning hundreds of violent felons who brutally beat police officers on January 6th.
It’s shameful. It was shameful then. And it will always be shameful.
And under the leadership of Democrats on this so-called January 6th subcommittee, we will make sure that the American people continue to receive the unfiltered truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
2nd Official NYC FALCON 2025 Summit
🗽 NYC Falcon 2025 — Second Official Meeting Recap
By—Jay
NYC Falcon Chat — what a powerful live event.
We covered a wide range of topics, and our group continues to grow in both spirit and numbers.
Thank you for your presence, your preferences, and your participation.
I deeply appreciate each of you for showing up—not just physically, but emotionally and intellectually.
It’s small groups like ours that band together to build a more informed citizenry, one conversation at a time.

🧭 Civic Listening & Symbolic Protest
We gather not just to speak, but to listen—to ensure that families across our city understand their everyday civil rights.
Our mission is rooted in empowerment, and it’s through gatherings like ours that demographic communities begin to rise, organize, and take a stand.
Remember the “sandwich guy”? The one who hurled his lunch at the DC officers—not as an act of violence, but as a symbolic protest.
While we don’t endorse aggression, we recognize the layered meaning behind his action: he weaponized his privilege to make a statement, knowing the system would likely shield him.
His gesture reminds us that visibility can be a tool for justice.
🏛️ From Staten Island to Capitol Hill
That same energy—of using visibility and position to spark change—is what we see in figures like Mayor Barack of Staten Island.
He’s leveraging his gubernatorial platform as a launchpad for transformation, and whether you agree with his methods or not, the symbolism is undeniable.
We’re not just spectators—we’re participants.
AOC, Bernie Sanders, the sandwich guy, Mayor Barack, you, and me—we’re all part of this movement.
We are the chorus behind the change, and our voices matter.
🗳️ Countdown to Midterms
Let’s stay focused.
In approximately thirteen to fourteen weeks, the midterm elections will arrive.
Democrats are preparing legislation that could lead to the impeachment and removal of the sitting President of the United States—for the third time in a row.
The legacy of 45 and 47 has been marked by incoherence, denialism, and a trail of policies that defy logic and compassion.
But it is groups like ours—grassroots, informed, and resilient—that helped vote him out last time, and will do so again if necessary.
🕊 Final Note: Legacy in Motion
This is not just a chat group.
This is a legacy circle.
Every meeting, every message, every moment we share is part of a larger archive of civic awakening.
We are the Falcon—sharp-eyed, high-flying, and unafraid to dive into the truth.
Let’s keep building, keep showing up, and keep reminding each other that informed citizens are the strongest force in any democracy.
The countdown to change has begun.
With gratitude and grit,
Jairo’Sonata
