🎙️ NYCFALCON Statement: September 11, 2025
Independent Coverage of the Charlie Kirk Assassination
Yesterday, the nation was shaken by the tragic assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA and host of the “Prove Me Wrong” campus debate series. While his political ideologies do not align with my own, I approach this moment not as a partisan–voice, but as an independent journalist committed to truth-telling across the spectrum.
At NYCFALCON, we honor truth in its clearest and simplest form—without bias, without distortion. Whether the subject leans left or right, our lens remains focused on clarity, accountability, and reverence for life.
🕊️ What We Know So Far
- Time & Location: Kirk was fatally shot at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, during a public debate attended by over 3,000 people.
- Shooter’s Movements: FBI officials report that the suspected shooter arrived on campus around noon, navigated stairwells to a rooftop, fired a single shot, then fled by jumping off the opposite side of the building and disappearing into nearby woods and neighborhoods.
- Suspect Description: Authorities say the shooter appeared to be college-aged and blended in with the campus crowd. No suspect is in custody at this time.
- Weapon Recovered: Investigators believe they’ve recovered the weapon used—a high-powered bolt-action rifle.
- Targeted Attack: Officials confirm this was a targeted assassination. They do not believe the broader community is at risk.
🧭 Why This Matters
Political violence threatens the very foundation of open discourse. As journalists, creators, and citizens, we must resist the temptation to dehumanize those with whom we disagree. Charlie Kirk’s death is not just a conservative loss—it is a national tragedy.
This coverage is not an endorsement of ideology. It is a ritual of remembrance, a call for accountability, and a reaffirmation of our shared humanity.
